about

My REAL passion is in serving and guiding others; real estate is my vehicle.

the EXCEPTION in a world full of choices

Buying or selling a house doesn't have to be so emotionally draining! For anyone.
Joy. Expertise. Wisdom. And, even some good, old-fashioned elbow grease (helping clean a house, or staging it) keep it real.

When you love what you do, when you are true to your calling...everything flows and it shows.

I'm a native Californian, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area; Alameda, to be precise!  Prior to becoming a REALTOR® I raised (and home-schooled) my children, completed my higher education while holding a position related to the real estate industry and managing a high-level customer care department for a neuroscience-based company.

At David E. Miller, Esq., in San Francisco, I worked as a proofreader and office assistant to Mr. David E. Miller, the trust attorney responsible for legislating the "no-inheritance tax" laws in California. Then, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the amazing team of neuroscientists and artists at Scientific Learning Corp., changing the lives of thousands of children and adults who have language-learning deficits. I started at the front desk and was promoted several times until, ultimately, I became the manager of the Professional Relations Department and the liaison between upper management and our customers. I was involved in everything from hiring and training high-level customer care representatives and managing the day-to-day operations of the department, to communicating the needs and concerns of the speech/language professionals using our products in their clinics and schools.

After moving to Mount Shasta, I took a brief position as an assistant for real estate attorneys Bob Boston & Bob Winston. Then I jumped into the fire at Siskiyou County Title as an escrow assistant. But the writing was on the wall; it was clear to me that all of my knowledge needed to be put to better use, so I became a REALTOR® in March 2004. Shortly thereafter, I decided that just wasn't good enough, so back to the books I went to become a broker in July of 2011.

I hold a BA in Liberal Studies, with a Minor in Human Development, from California State University East Bay (Hayward).  I am married to a wonderful man who dedicated his life's work to serving and protecting the public. He is retired now & loves assisting me with my business; his love of real estate & building wealth through it is palpable. We have 4 thriving adult children and two gorgeous grandchildren (who live way too far away!).  When I am not "real estating" you may find me on a country road bicycling or taking photographs, working in my garden, trying out new recipes, entertaining friends over a BBQ, or traveling (mostly the U.S.A....and when traveling, trust me! I am ALWAYS looking at real estate!)
